Storytelling has guided my path from the beginning. Raised in Chicago and shaped by travel and curiosity, I developed an early appreciation for stories that reflect culture, complexity, and truth. My first industry experience came through the Hollywood Black Film Festival, where I worked in operations and registration, gaining firsthand insight into how creative platforms function and how vital behind-the-scenes support is to their success.

In 2016, I began working with G-Unit Film & Television, marking the start of my professional writing and producing career. Since then, my work has expanded across film and television through collaborations with Arts District and 3Blackdot, including culturally resonant projects such as the Black Mafia Family spinoff Lamar. These experiences taught me that the most powerful stories come from lived experience, and that storytellers need community and infrastructure to sustain their work.

The BLK Collective Media Group was created to ensure storytellers are not navigating this path alone. It exists to provide the access, community, and infrastructure needed to build sustainable creative careers.
